We’re excited to have been asked to work on a microsite for Crossway’s new book The Four Holy Gospels. The book is in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. Uniquely embellished and illustrated by the artist Makoto Fujimura, The Four Holy Gospels contains the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Having rich, meaningful content and all the text we needed to account for before we started designing the site allowed the design process to flow smoothly. It’s a joy to design when we are aware of the content which needs accounting for. The site was wireframed to showcase five full paintings in a lightbox, present a video illuminating the process, display a PDF reader and give a brief introduction of the artist. We chose a simple, clean solution, allowing the colorful, dynamic content to speak for itself.
